After more than 15 years of providing specialized products and services for those with specific health-related needs, All About You (also known as “The Shoppe”) recently held a grand reopening in its newly renovated space located inside Longstreet Clinic Cancer Center.
The expansion comes on the heels of All About You’s recent mastectomy reaccreditation by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC).
As the only accredited facility (for mastectomy) within 40 miles – and one of two in northeast Georgia, including metro Atlanta – All About You offers anyone (not just Longstreet Cancer Center patients) the opportunity to be fitted with breast prosthetics. They also stock a wide variety of specialty products, from post-surgical camisoles, turbans and caps to synthetic wigs, bras and compression therapy items.
“We’re thrilled that we have earned reaccreditation from ABC, which has the highest standards in the profession,” said A. Mary Smith, CMF, who works as a certified fitter with All About You. “It shows how serious we are about helping any woman to feel whole again and to regain some confidence after a difficult reality. This sets a benchmark for the quality we show in patient care, and we want any woman who has gone through the trauma of mastectomy to know that we are here for her and ready to help.”
Located in Gainesville at 725 Jesse Jewell Parkway SE, Suite 390 (Third Floor), All About You also offers:
- Synthetic wigs
- Bras and breast prosthetics
- Post-surgical camisoles & bras
- Turbans and caps
- Compression therapy products (sleeves, gloves, stockings)
- Private consultations with our Certified Fitter
To schedule your private consultation or inquire further about products and services available at All About You, please call 770-297-5633. Fittings are available Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. by appointment only. The retail shop is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
ABC’s mastectomy accreditation is valid until June of 2026. ABC is the only Medicare Deemed Authority with the highest standards in the profession. To receive accreditation, a facility must:
- Demonstrate compliance and competency beyond other regulatory requirements
- Bill Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance carriers
- Stand out from the competition
- Decrease insurance costs due to improved risk management practices
