Daniel A. Mullis, MD, FACS, is a nationally recognized general surgeon with Longstreet Clinic and was recently recognized by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC), an internationally recognized patient safety organization, as a Surgeon of Excellence in Robotic Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery and Hernia Surgery. He performed the first robotic pancreatic and liver operations at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Dr. Mullis is a native of Rome, Ga., who began practicing surgery in 2004 and joined Longstreet Clinic in 2008. He currently is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Community Medicine at Mercer University, and throughout the year, teaches medical and physician assistant students in surgery.
Dr. Mullis has served as a delegate to the Medical Association of Georgia since 2009, a patient and physician advocacy organization involved with local, state, and federal legislation.
