Eight Longstreet Clinic physicians recently earned recognition as Atlanta Magazine’s Top Doctors for 2024.
Longstreet Clinic’s honorees were:

- Karl Schultz Jr., MD, FAANS, FACS, Neurosurgery
- Priscilla Strom, MD, FACS, Breast Surgery
- Eric Velazquez, MD, MBA, FACS, FASMBS, Bariatric Surgery
This represents the ninth year Dr. Gibbs has earned this distinction and the eighth year for Dr. Allaire and Dr. Schultz. Drs. Grunch and Strom also make their third appearances in the honors. Dr. Velazquez, who was featured on the cover last year, makes his second appearance. Velazquez joined Longstreet Clinic in October 2021; previously was named a top doctor in surgery by Philadelphia magazine from 2018 to 2021. This is the second time making the feature for Dr. Aycinena and the first appearance for Dr. Hussain.
Each July, Atlanta Magazine recognizes the achievements of Metro Atlanta physicians, placing them as leaders among their peers. The doctors in the feature were selected by Professional Research Services (PRS), a firm based in Michigan, which conducted an online peer-review survey of all licensed physicians in the metro Atlanta area. Physicians were asked to nominate fellow physicians whom they deemed to be the best in their fields of practice. Nominations were screened through verification of licensing and review of any infractions through applicable boards, agencies and rating services.
